What is minimum wage?
Nebraska minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.

What is the minimum wage for tipped employees?
Minimum wage for Nebraska tipped employees is $2.13 per hour, the same as the federal rate. This is applicable as long as the tips employees receive plus their wage add up to at least minimum wage for every hour worked. If it does not the employer must make up the difference.

When am I eligible to earn overtime?
The federal Fair Labor Standards Act laws may apply to eligible employees. The federal wage and hour laws mandate that non-exempt employees are to be paid 1.5 times their regular rate when they work more than 40 hours in a workweek.

Am I entitled to a lunch or rest break?
Nebraska workers are entitled to a 30-minute meal break for each eight-hour shift.
