What is minimum wage?
Minnesota minimum wage for eligible employees is $6.15 per hour.

What is the minimum wage for tipped employees?
Minnesota does not allow a tip credit. The minimum rate is the same for tipped and non-tipped employees.

When am I eligible to earn overtime?
The Minnesota Fair Labor Standards Act requires employers to pay overtime at a rate of at least one-and-one-half times the regular wage rate for any hours over 48 in a work week for eligible employees. Unless exempt, Minnesota workers are covered by state and federal overtime law. Many overtime exemptions are the same under Minnesota overtime law and federal overtime law.

Am I entitled to a lunch or rest break?
Employees in Minnesota are entitled to a meal break of sufficient unpaid time for employees who work eight consecutive hours or more.
