What is Idaho minimum wage?
Idaho applies the federal minimum wage rate of $7.25 per hour.
What is the minimum wage for tipped employees?
The minimum wage in Idaho for tipped employees is $3.35 per hour, as long as the tips they receive plus their wage add up to at least the applicable minimum wage for each hour worked. If it does not the employer must make up the difference.
When am I eligible to earn overtime?
If you are a non-exempt employee in Idaho you are eligible to be paid overtime at 1.5 times your regular pay rate for working over 40 hours in a work week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Am I entitled to a lunch or rest break?Idaho does not require employers to provide lunch or rest breaks. Employees eligible to federal wage and hour protections must be paid for interrupted meal or lunch breaks.
