What is Connecticut minimum wage?
Connecticut minimum wage is $8.25 an hour.

What is the minimum wage for tipped employees?
The hourly wage for most Connecticut tipped employees is $5.69, so long as the tips bring the employee’s total hourly wage up to the applicable minimum wage. If it does not the employer has to make up the difference.

When am I eligible to earn overtime?
Eligible employees must be paid time-and-a-half (overtime pay) if they work more than 40 hours a week, and employees who work weekends, holidays, or a sixth or seventh consecutive day of work must be paid premium pay.

Am I entitled to a lunch or rest break?
An unpaid, 30-minute meal break after the first two hours of work, and before the last two hours of work for eligible employees who work seven-and-a-half or more consecutive hours.
