What is the current minimum wage in Texas?

A: The current federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.  This has been the minimum wage since July 24, 2009.  Texas does not have a separate minimum wage law, so it follows the federal law.  Some states do have a minimum wage that is higher than the federally mandated one. In that case, the higher minimum wage law controls.
