Last month, the Texas Workforce Commission recovered over $250,000 in back wages owed to 47 former Washex, Inc. employees.
TWC received numerous wage and hour claims from several Washex employees in August of 2009. Following investigation, the TWC placed a lien on Washex, a Wichita Falls based company. The lien was placed after Washex filed for bankruptcy early in 2010.
