Premera Blue Cross in Seattle has offered a $1.45 million settlement for an overtime lawsuit brought against the company by employees who claim Premera did not pay them overtime wages. The judge preliminarily approved the settlement for the workers last month.
The class-action lawsuit involves a group of tech workers who claimed Premera misclassified them as exempt employees, meaning they were not entitled to overtime wages. The company was accused of misclassifying about 133 workers.
