Avion Systems field engineers report not being paid overtime - Workers nationwide affected, including Texas and California

Network installation technicians denied overtime: Avion Systems field engineers report not being compensated for overtime hours at work

Installation technicians report that Avion Systems has not compensated them for their overtime hours. Hundreds of computer installation employees nationwide could be affected.

Many technicians who work for communication companies are not paid according to the FLSA and they are frequently not compensated for overtime hours. We currently represent employees who worked as field engineers for Avion Systems - an Atlanta-based global technology company with over 600 employees.

Avion Systems employees work around the country and around the world in contracted or full-time positions. Field engineers working for Avion Systems have various duties that can include:

  • Computer equipment installation
  • computer hardware technicians
  • hardware installation and maintenance 
  • working on IT infrastructures
  • performing maintenance inspections,
  • determining service requirements for equipment.

Nature of the violation

Our clients inform us that they frequently worked over 40 hours a week for Avion Systems, but were not paid according to the FLSA rate of time-and-a-half for their overtime hours.
